Anglo Educational Services Academic Programme

Despite the disruption COVID-19 has caused to International Education, our team has been working hard on enhancing the academic programming we provide

Whether it is our Virtual Internships or Alumni Tours, we have been maintaining our level of innovation, allowing us to offer students a wider range of options for the future.

With a strong commitment to developing our relationship with US universities, AES has concluded a School of Record agreement with the University of Connecticut (UConn). UConn is accredited by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (NEASC). This cooperative arrangement enables AES to develop a curriculum for both semester and summer sessions, and have courses, internships and faculty validated by a prestigious, accredited US university through an official transcript issued by UConn. AES will follow the standards and guidelines set by UConn in the delivery of all School of Record courses.

Students have the opportunity to study and intern in one of the world’s leading international cities and will select courses drawn from UConn’s curriculum for up to 12 credits each semester, and up to 6 credits in summer. In addition, students have the option of undertaking an AES internship worth 4 credits from a wide range of internship sites, available to students from most majors and fields of interest. Students undertaking an internship will participate in a London Reflective-Learning Seminar to complement the internship.

Students can choose from an initial list of UConn courses from within the following subject areas:

  • Arts & Media
  • History & Politics
  • Drama & Literature
  • Psychology & Social Sciences

We will be working on other programmes, including sports and other subjects.

Internship placements are available in a variety of fields, including business & finance, communications & marketing, media & public relations, social services, politics, education, fashion, travel & tourism and arts & events management.

All participants will be given a full arrival orientation covering their AES accommodation, study centre facilities and all aspects of living and working in London. They will attend lectures and participate in excursions to become immersed in London culture. As part of their chosen courses, students will visit theatres, government buildings, museums & art galleries as well as historic landmarks.
