Cutty Sark marks its 150th anniversary in 2019

Cutty Sark, one of the world’s most famous ships, the last surviving tea clipper and the fastest and greatest of her time will be marking its 150th anniversary in 2019

Visit the ship this year and experience what it was like to sail on board this much-loved national icon and get a taste of what life was like as a seafaring Victorian as you discover how the crew lived, ate and slept aboard this iconic ship.

Walk underneath Cutty Sark’s gleaming copper hull for an awe-inspiring view and the chance to admire the cutting-edge design that made her the fastest ship in the world.

We know Cutty Sark as a tea clipper, but whilst on board, learn about the other varied types of cargo the ship carried over her 52 years of operation across the world; from wool, cocoa, coal and shark bones!
