This half-day course will introduce you to the fundamentals of PR, to help you effectively utilise it to support your brand growth and development.
What you will learn
By the end of the session, you will have learned the basic fundamentals of PR and be armed with a PR ‘toolkit’ that will allow you to start effectively engaging with the media about your brand. You will have a basic understanding of what PR is and how brands use it, how the media works, and the purpose of having a PR strategy. You will then learn about how to reach your target audience through the media, how to develop key messages and the structure of a newsworthy press release. You will also learn about effective PR reporting to showcase results.
