HAGGiS Adventures new 6-day Volunteer Adventures to the Isle of Skye

The Isle of Skye has been welcoming HAGGiS Adventures for almost three decades. We decided it’s time to create an itinerary that enables us to give back to Skye’s local area and community

In partnership with the Sleat Community Trust we have designed a small-group adventure to support the transformation of Tormore, a community-owned forest on Skye. The area contains remains of historical settlements that have huge potential to be used by Skye’s residents and visitors to the island. Our passengers will help to create a new site of interest that will benefit both locals and visitors for generations to come

The trip includes a Gaelic tutoring session at the National Centre for Gaelic Language and Culture, Sabhal Mòr Ostaig, where our group will not only learn about the founding language of Scotland but also help to keep an endangered cultural heritage of Scotland alive!

After each morning of volunteering we spend our afternoons exploring mountains, Fairy Pools, whisky, and castles galore. It’s not all hard toil – guaranteed belly laughs included!

Departs October 24th 2022 from Inverness.
