Intravelr introduces in-house happiness committee
The committee formed by employees from the business, is responsible for running initiatives, creating a fun and inspiring environment, and organising events that help the workforce to be more motivated and productive, while also supporting their mental health and wellbeing going into 2023
Various social events, as well as educational talks and fitness activities have been planned, such as Christmas decorations and Secret Santa in December, as well as some team walks to wrap up what the committee stated has been a challenging yet successful year.
Smoothie Thursdays have also been introduced, for 5 January to welcome employees back from the holiday, giving them access to juices and smoothies in the office.
January’s calendar will also include educational evenings, where employees can learn more about Lunar New Year celebrations on 22 January and Burns Nights on 25 January.
The committee has committed to sending out internal weekly surveys, in order to check in on employees’ moods and wellbeing.
Nick Steiert, co-founder of Intravelr, said:
Empowered employees are at the core of every successful business: this is why we’ve decided to launch our in-house happiness committee this Christmas, which will be in charge of supporting employees’ mental health and wellbeing across 2023
