TASIS The American School in England is a co-educational American International school situated on a beautiful 46 acre campus in Surrey, a 15 minute ride from Heathrow, and 30 minutes by commuter train from Central London
We were founded in 1976 and currently offer the American High School Diploma, Advanced Placement courses and the International Baccalaureate. Our students, via our 4 year 1:1 College counselling programme, are prepared for admission to universities in the USA (50% of the class of 2019), UK (30%) and the rest of the world (20%). We have a comprehensive programme of athletics, clubs, community service, cultural excursions, and a European Travel Week included within our Academic Year boarding fees.
In our summer programme, offered by us at our school since 1978, we welcome over 400 students aged 11 – 17 from 35 different countries around the world to enjoy British Council accredited ESL courses, IELTS preparation and a range of enrichment programmes from international business to fashion and textile design. The programme incorporates professionally led sports and weekend excursions to theatre in London, Stonehenge, Bath, Oxford and Cambridge, and of course London. We are very proud that our Summer School was recently awarded the Gold Award in the final of the British Youth Travel Awards, in the Best Educational Product category.
