Learn & Experience launches new website

The Learn & Experience team have been working very hard over the past few months and we are very excited to announce the launch of our new website www.learnandexperience.com

We wanted to make the new site faster, easier to navigate, more user-friendly, interactive and fun!  Our homepage allows you to plan a 6 week adventure of a lifetime with our new drag and drop section and don’t forget to click the ‘did you know’ slide-out on each page to find out more about L&E.  We’re not finished yet! Keep an eye out for more improvements very soon.

The timing of our website launch sees L&E move into our 10th year and we couldn’t be prouder of what we have achieved so far.  From a 2 week camp in 2010 with as many staff as there were children to the present day, where we have hosted over 50 different nationalities of children across all our programmes.

Last year L&E delivered our inaugural Young Global Leaders programme which was a massive success!  Teenagers from all walks of life sharing a week of thought provoking discussions around leadership, teamwork and resilience was inspiring to witness.  This amazing week culminated in an overnight Wilderness Experience where the teens learned valuable survival skills and got a bit soggy wild camping in the Yorkshire Dales.  Suffice to say they came back tired but full of amazing stories to share.

Something that has been in pipeline for over 2 years has finally come to fruition… The Youth Project Podcast is now available to stream through our website.  The idea behind this podcast was to create a platform for young people to share their ideas and opinions about various topics such as politics, social media and climate change with the hosts; Sam, Director of L&E, Julie, Operations Manager of L&E and Mike, Language Coordinator of L&E.  With the help of our guests who range from teachers, freelancers, doctors and architects we hope to show the various pathways that are available into these careers and to shine a light on professions that have only become apparent in the last 10 years.

We are proud to be new members of BETA and we look forward to meeting the BETA community at upcoming events this year.
