Tell us a bit about your role and how it supports the business?

UK Car Bookings is a private hire company, specialising in airport transfers for corporate and personal customers. We have a fleet of vehicles suitable for a varied range of customers and needs. I am the owner and founder of the business and play a hands on role in, dealing with sales, operations and staff training. As a team we continue to adapt to our current trading climate.

What is the best piece of advice you have ever been given?

Keep calm, keep trying and never sit at home thinking bad times will pass with you moving!

What is coming up for your company in the next 12/18 months?

During the lockdown we have worked on passenger app and customer portal and our clients are now able to book and track journeys using this easy to use system.

We are also committed to building customer confidence in hygiene, health and safety. Our vehicles are cleaned daily using disinfectant sprays, regular inspection of our fleets and continuous support for our staff and customers.

Covid-19 has had a huge impact on our industry, what is the one thing that you have learnt personally or professionally during this time?

Always be prepared for the worst, look after your staff and suppliers who help you run your business. Work as a team and never give up.
