The View from The Shard, the popular visitor attraction that sits at the top of The Shard, has partnered with Uber Boat by Thames Clippers, London’s River Bus, to launch a brand-new sightseeing river experience
The View from The River will run from London Bridge City Pier which is visible from the top of The Shard and just a few minutes’ walk from London’s most iconic building.
The View from The River is a 50-minute sightseeing experience that takes visitors on a circular route along the Thames to enjoy many of London’s riverside attractions like St Paul’s Cathedral, Houses of Parliament, The London Eye and under Tower Bridge. The tours depart twice a day from Wednesday to Sunday at 2pm and 3:15pm.
Uber Boat by Thames Clippers vessels have comfortable seating inside and on the back-deck and an onboard café bar stocking a range of drinks from champagne to hot drinks. A London expert will provide quirky facts and entertaining live commentary to make sure passengers do not miss any of the many famous landmarks they are sailing past.

We are really excited to be adding The View from The River to our product range. Inspired by the breath-taking views from the
top of The Shard many of our visitors are keen to see and learn more about London and, taking advantage of our perfect position on the banks of the Thames, we felt a sightseeing trip along the river with a London expert is the perfect way for them to broaden their knowledge and experience of our city
Alison Murphy from Uber Boat by Thames Clippers said
We have been part of the fabric of London for over 20 years, going up and down the Thames every day. We are delighted to be
able to share this experience with more Londoners and visitors, so they can experience just how beautiful our city is when viewed from the river. It’s great to be working with our partners at The View from The Shard on this unique new product
The View from The River is available to book at www.theviewfromtheshard.com at just £12 a person.
